Brand Namibia is the national nation-branding initiative of the Republic of Namibia, established to shape, manage and promote the country’s global image and reputation. The initiative is led collaboratively by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (MICT), the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism (MEFT), and the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), each playing a complementary role in positioning Namibia internationally.

Through a coordinated approach, Brand Namibia promotes the country as a compelling destination for investment, tourism, exports, and international engagement. The initiative works to align national messaging across government, the private sector, and other stakeholders to ensure that Namibia is presented to the world in a consistent, authentic and inspiring way.

This Online Brand Namibia Toolkit is a shared resource designed to help all stakeholders present Namibia consistently, professionally, and confidently across local and international platforms. The toolkit ensures that everyone communicating about Namibia speaks with one clear and unified national voice.

Who should use the toolkit
The toolkit is intended for government institutions, regional and local authorities, state-owned enterprises, private sector companies, tourism operators, media practitioners, event organisers, investors, and all partners promoting Namibia.

How to use the toolkit
Users should access and download official assets directly from the online platform and apply them according to the provided guidance. Only approved materials from the toolkit should be used when representing Brand Namibia.

Brand consistency
All communications must follow the approved Brand Namibia visual identity and messaging. Logos, colours, fonts, imagery, and templates should not be altered or recreated. Consistent application strengthens Namibia’s global recognition and credibility

Messaging alignment
Content created using the toolkit should reflect Namibia’s national positioning, highlighting opportunity, sustainability, innovation, culture, and progress. Stakeholders are encouraged to tell their own stories while aligning with the national narrative.
